Music is at the heart of Christian worship and stands as one of the most important religious expressions of the Lutheran tradition. Music at Our Redeemer is led by Jeremy Mattson, who conducts, plans, and rehearses the musical ensembles. If you would like more information about these ensembles, contact Jeremy at jeremy.j.mattson@gmail.com.
Sanctuary Choir: This is the adult choir that leads traditional Sunday services. The choir generally sings two times a month, and rehearses on Wednesdays from 7:00-8:00 p.m. All are welcome regardless of musical experience. (If you can count to four, you can join!)
Jubilation Bells: This is the adult handbell choir that performs music during Sunday services. The bell choir generally performs one time a month, and rehearses on Wednesday from 6:00-7:00 p.m. It is helpful to be able to read sheet music, but specific handbell experience is not required.
Contemporary Worship Band: This is the worship band that leads contemporary Sunday services. The worship band generally performs one time a month, and rehearses on Sundays mornings from 9:00-9:45 a.m. It is helpful to have musical experience in the instrument you play in this group.
