Our Redeemer’s mission is “Transforming Lives and Building Community by Loving God and Serving Others
Transforming Lives: As Christians, we believe in the power of God’s saving love to transform lives! Grounded in our Lutheran identity, we understand God’s redeeming love to be a gift given freely to all. Having been blessed by that gift, we are compelled to go out into the world as expressions of that saving love to everyone we meet, in everything we do.
Building Community: When we gather for worship each week, not only do we sing, pray, and break bread together, we also enjoy a connection with believers around the world and throughout the ages. United as followers of Jesus, we understand the importance of connection. We seek to foster new connections and to deepen existing ones both within our congregation and in the communities we serve.
Loving God: We celebrate all the good things God has done for us! We honor these divine gifts by praising God’s name in worship, by dwelling in God’s word through study and prayer, and by offering our time, talents, and treasures in support of God’s mission through the work of the church throughout the world.
Serving Others: When we serve others and address social issues that affect the common good, we live out our calling as Christ’s disciples. We strive, therefore, to ensure that the needs of our community are met through spiritual care, economic support, nutritional assistance, care of creation, and public advocacy.
